Liverpool fans are in for a nostalgic afternoon as the Liverpool Legends side takes on Borussia Dortmund at Anfield, with some huge names included in the starting lineup.
The team, selected by Kenny Dalglish and his staff, sees both Steven Gerrard and Thiago Alcântara starting in midfield — a combination that is sure to excite supporters.

Dudek, Wright, Skrtel, Hyypia, Klavan, Aurelio, Spearing, Biscan, Thiago, Gerrard, Babel.
There’s also plenty of quality on the bench, including familiar names such as Reina, Smicer, Kuyt and Crouch, giving fans a chance to see multiple generations of Liverpool players back at Anfield.
The match, which kicks off at 3pm GMT, is part of the annual LFC Foundation charity game, supported by AXA and held in association with Forever Reds. While the result is secondary, the occasion is always special — bringing together legends of the club for a good cause.
For many supporters, seeing Gerrard back out on the Anfield pitch is always a highlight, and with Thiago alongside him, it adds a modern touch to the lineup as well.
It promises to be an afternoon full of memories, quality moments and a reminder of just how many great players have worn the Liverpool shirt.
