Transfer reports from Italy suggest Liverpool F.C. are interested in three players from Juventus F.C. — Khephren Thuram, Francisco Conceição and Pierre Kalulu.
It’s an interesting group of players because they all play in different positions, which could suggest Liverpool are looking to strengthen multiple areas of the squad this summer.
Khephren Thuram – Midfield Power
Thuram is a powerful, athletic midfielder who can carry the ball forward and dominate physically in midfield. Liverpool have been linked with him before, and he fits the profile of a Premier League midfielder with strength, energy and the ability to break forward with the ball.
If Liverpool are looking to add more physicality and drive to midfield, Thuram would make a lot of sense.
Francisco Conceição – Possible Salah Successor?
Conceição is a winger who has already been linked with Liverpool as a possible long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. He is quick, direct, and likes to take on defenders — very much a traditional attacking winger.
With Liverpool expected to eventually replace Salah’s output, it is no surprise they are being linked with attacking wide players.
Pierre Kalulu – Defensive Versatility
Kalulu is a versatile defender who can play centre-back or right-back. That could be very important for Liverpool, especially with injuries and uncertainty in defence.
Players who can play multiple positions are very valuable across a long season, and Kalulu fits that profile perfectly.
Could Liverpool Shop In Turin This Summer?
Whether any of these deals actually happen remains to be seen, but it is interesting that Liverpool are being linked with multiple players from the same club.
It could be coincidence, or it could suggest Liverpool are closely monitoring Juventus and see potential opportunities in the market there this summer.
It’s definitely one to keep an eye on.
