With uncertainty continuing around the future of Arne Slot at Liverpool, bookmakers have already begun pricing up potential replacements — and a surprising early frontrunner has emerged.

According to the latest odds market, current Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique is now the favourite to become the next Liverpool manager.

Next Liverpool manager odds

  • Luis Enrique – 7/2 (PSG)
  • Andoni Iraola – 4/1 (Bournemouth – leaving 2026)
  • Sebastian Hoeness – 9/2 (Stuttgart)
  • Julian Nagelsmann – 6/1 (Germany)
  • Jurgen Klopp – 17/2 (Unattached)
  • Oliver Glasner – 9/1 (Crystal Palace – leaving 2026)

  • Simone Inzaghi – 12/1 (Al-Hilal)
  • Steven Gerrard – 14/1 (Unattached)
  • Francesco Farioli – 16/1 (Porto)

The presence of Luis Enrique at the top of the market will inevitably raise eyebrows among supporters, particularly given his current role managing one of Europe’s elite clubs.

However, betting markets often reflect speculation rather than concrete negotiations, especially at this stage of the summer cycle.

Still, the fact Liverpool’s managerial situation is being openly discussed in this way highlights the growing scrutiny surrounding Slot’s position following a difficult season.

The Dutchman’s future has come under increasing attention in recent weeks after a campaign filled with inconsistency, defensive issues and mounting pressure from supporters.

While there has been no official suggestion of an immediate change, the speculation has refused to go away.

Behind Enrique in the odds are a mix of Premier League managers and high-profile names across Europe.

Andoni Iraola has impressed at Bournemouth, while Julian Nagelsmann remains a highly rated option despite currently managing the German national team.

Former Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp also appears in the betting, although a return would be seen as a major shock.

Other names include Unai Emery, Oliver Glasner, Simone Inzaghi, and even former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, underlining the wide range of speculation currently surrounding the role.

For now, Liverpool have made no official comment on their managerial plans.

But with odds already shifting and rumours continuing to circulate, it is clear that attention is beginning to turn towards what could be another major summer of change at Anfield.
