Liverpool supporters eager to see Jeremy Jacquet in action have received a positive update from Andoni Iraola.
The Reds’ head coach has confirmed that the young French defender is progressing well in training, but the club will take a cautious approach to his return.
Speaking about Jacquet’s fitness, Iraola said:
“He’s been training very well, but we’re going to take it easy with him. He will play probably in the last game of this US tour [against Leeds on 2 August].”
For supporters, it is encouraging news—even if they will have to wait a little longer to see one of Liverpool’s most exciting young signings make his unofficial debut.
No Need to Rush
