Football can be about trophies, transfers and huge moments under the lights.
But sometimes, it’s the little moments that remind us why we love the game.
And Mohamed Salah has given one Liverpool superfan an unforgettable memory.
Before Trabzonspor’s game tonight, Salah walked out onto the pitch alongside Isaac Kearney, a famous Liverpool supporter who has captured the hearts of Reds fans over the years.
And what happened next was absolutely brilliant.
A special reunion for Isaac and Salah
Isaac has met a number of Liverpool players over the years, including Salah during the Egyptian forward’s time at Anfield.
Many Liverpool supporters will remember Isaac from his visits to the club, where his passion for Liverpool quickly made him a hugely popular figure among the fanbase.
Isaac lives with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, and his connection with Liverpool has been incredibly special.
Tonight, that connection took him somewhere completely different.
Türkiye.
Trabzonspor invited Isaac and his family over to watch their game and, most importantly, gave him the chance to surprise Salah.
And the reunion couldn’t have been more wholesome.

Salah didn’t simply say hello and disappear.
He walked out with Isaac before the game, spent time with him on the pitch and even joined him as Isaac scored some goals.
You could see just how much the moment meant.
For Isaac, this wasn’t simply about meeting a footballer.
It was about reconnecting with someone he had met during his Liverpool days and creating another memory together.

We spend so much time talking about the negative side of football.
Transfers.
Money.
VAR.
Managers being sacked.
Players being criticised.
Sometimes it’s nice to remember that football can be about something much more important.
Bringing people together.
Isaac is a Liverpool supporter who has touched the hearts of thousands of fans, and seeing him reunited with Salah thousands of miles away from Anfield is genuinely beautiful.
And credit has to go to Trabzonspor too.
Inviting Isaac and his family to Türkiye and arranging the surprise was a fantastic gesture.
Liverpool fans will love this
Salah may no longer be at Liverpool, but moments like this show why his connection with the supporters remains so strong.
He clearly remembered Isaac.
And rather than simply posing for a photograph, Salah helped give him a proper experience on the pitch.
For Isaac, it’s a memory he’ll hopefully treasure forever.
From Anfield to Türkiye
Isaac has gone from meeting Salah at Liverpool to walking onto the pitch alongside him in Türkiye.
That’s football at its very best.
No transfer fee.
No trophy.
No statistics.
Just two people sharing a special moment and enjoying the game they both love.
