Another name popping up for Liverpool FC.
They’ve been keeping an eye on Franck Honorat at Borussia Mönchengladbach and have actually sent people out to watch him properly.
Doesn’t mean anything’s close, but it’s clearly more than just a random link.
He’s not exactly a big-name signing, but that’s never really been Liverpool’s thing anyway.
From what you see, he’s direct, works hard, and actually tries to make things happen — gets at defenders, puts balls into the box, that kind of player.
And if we’re being honest, that’s something we’ve been missing at times.
Wide areas have been a bit inconsistent this season.
Some games we look dangerous, others we just don’t really do enough. Not enough players taking risks or trying to beat their man.
So someone like Honorat would at least give you something different.
I don’t mind this kind of move personally.
It’s not exciting on paper, but those are the ones that sometimes surprise you. If he fits the system and actually adds something, then it makes sense.
For now it’s just scouting.
But when Liverpool start watching players in person, it usually means there’s at least some genuine interest there.
