Liverpool’s search for a new centre-back appears to be gathering momentum.
According to James Wathland, the Reds have now held talks with AC Milan regarding Fikayo Tomori, with strengthening the heart of the defence becoming one of the club’s top priorities.
After weeks of speculation linking Liverpool with a number of defenders across Europe, this is one of the clearest indications yet that the club are actively exploring experienced options.
Defensive Reinforcements Remain a Priority
It is no secret that Liverpool need another centre-back.

Liverpool already have exciting young defenders such as Jeremy Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni.
