There’s been some unconfirmed talk going around that Trent Alexander-Arnold would love a move back to Liverpool FC this summer.
Nothing concrete yet, but it’s definitely the kind of rumour that catches people’s attention straight away.
Because regardless of what’s happened, Trent is still one of our own.
A Scouser, academy graduate and someone who gave Liverpool fans some unbelievable moments over the years.
That connection with the club doesn’t just disappear overnight.
And honestly, Liverpool have missed him.
Not only the passing and creativity, but his personality as well.
Too many games this season have felt flat and predictable, and Trent is one of those players capable of changing a match with one bit of quality.
I know some supporters would have mixed feelings depending on how things ended before, but I still think most fans would take him back instantly.
Players with that sort of talent are hard to replace.
Especially when they already understand the club and the pressure that comes with it.
Right now it’s just rumours, but it’s definitely one worth watching because if there’s any truth in it at all, this story will get massive very quickly.

His brother (also his agent) has been laying into Liverpool fans recently. There is no chance Trent comes back. Great player for us and some amazing memories but we need to move on from him and replace him with a proper injury free right-back this summer.
